Dress Code

AEOLIAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DRESS CODE

All clothing must be clean, in good repair, and fit appropriately.

The following clothes are NOT acceptable for school wear:

Tops:

1.    Oversized shirts
2.    Spaghetti strap tank tops
3.    Halter tops
4.    Shirts that expose bare midriffs or are see-through
5.    Raiders clothing
6.    Shirts with inappropriate slogans or artwork (i.e., references to drugs, alcohol, smoking, offensive language, sexual references).

Bottoms:

1. Sagging or dragging pants (even if worn with belts)
2. Short shorts/skirt

Hats:

1. Hats, caps, or any other headgear, and outerwear are not to be worn in the classroom.

Shoes:

1. High heels
2. Backless shoes
3. Sandals (open toed)
4. Shoes with Wheels
5. Metal-toed boots

Accessories:

1. Excessive jewelry, including dangle and/or hoop earrings
2. Large belt buckles
3. Make-up
4. Raiders/Gang-affiliated accessories

Students found to be out of compliance with the dress code will be provided with appropriate loan clothing from the Aeolian Closet.  If this is not possible; the student will call home for another change of clothes.
