The Aeolian community participated in the 2016 National Walk to School Day on October 5, 2016. There were five Aztec stops around the Aeolian School neighborhood where families, teachers, Pico Sheriff, and LA County Fire Fighters met. All walking groups got to the school at 7:45 a.m. and enjoyed a before school celebration where all adults and students did the Cha Cha Slide! In Los Nietos we believe in making healthy choices, so encouraging students to walk to school was a great event that is aligned with our Healthy Los Nietos initiative.
