Our Parent Teacher Club and Teachers outdid themselves this year!! On Friday, May 13 we held our 4th Annual Summer Carnival and enjoyed the island paradise theme. Grade Level teams created NEW carnival games this year which included Tic-Tac-Toe Velcro, Rain Gutter Boat Racing, Lottery, Sweat Treat Walk, Tic-Tac-Toe Relay Races, VIP Lunch with the Teacher, and Bean Bag Toss!! We also had a jumper, the ever popular dunk tank, a photo booth, and our amazing Aztec Dancers that come out each year to honor our mascot. Our PTC sold taco plate dinners, fruit bowls, and caramel apples. Our goal wasn't to make money this year, but to provide a fun community event where we would just break even with our costs. Surprising to find out that not only did we cover our costs but we made $4,400!!! Our Aeolian Community likes to have fun!! Thank you for coming out and participating and enjoying yourselves. Thank you to all of the volunteers who worked for HOURS (some 10 hours) and our amazing custodians who always do everything for our kids and community!! What a great way to kick off the summer!!
