For $1 parents, students, and teachers walked away with a gallon sized bag of fresh, organic lettuce from Aeolian's garden.
During Thursday's garden club meeting, students learned how to harvest and clean various variety of lettuce. There were green leaf and red leaf. Over 30 bags were made.
On Friday, students walked around selling the bags after school. Many parents were eagerly trying to get their hands on the prized lettuce. Even Mrs. Ruiz, doing the valet duty, was too late! In a matter of 10 minutes every bag was sold.
