On Wednesday, October 12th the Aeolian community showed up at the Fresh and Easy on Whittier and Painter in large numbers to show their support for their school. From 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. volunteers greeted customers, bagged groceries, collected shopping carts from the parking lots, and collected receipts. Even the students got in on the action! In fact it was the students who collected the most receipts. Fresh and Easy customers found it hard to resist their charming personalities and cute smiles. Fresh and Easy employees shared with Principal Ruiz that they felt Aeolian was one of the best schools they have worked with. Many commented to Mrs. Ruiz how polite and hardworking all of the many volunteers were. Overall it was a very successful night. Everyone had a good time and we were able to raise money for our school!
