It was a wonderful morning celebrating the hard work of 57 young men and women who have finished their elementary experience at Aeolian and are ready to move up to Los Nietos Middle School!! Our Aztec Torch Bearers this year were Erik Mejia and Ytosie Garcia. These students are chosen by their teachers to represent their class during the Pledge of Allegiance. They are hard working students, follow Aeolian's Tribe Agreements, and are great role models and citizens of our school. We also had four students make speeches that go with this year's theme, "The Best is Yet to Come". The students were Abigail Cielo, Emmanuel Rubio, Valerie Contreras, and Mariah Castro. They all did a wonderful job! With some closing words of encouragement and wisdom from Principal Speh, presentation of certificates, and finally the 6th graders singing "Good Riddance" by Green Day to finish off the Promotion Ceremony! These students will surely be missed, but are going to do great at the middle school!! Good luck and congratulations Class of 2016!!
Principal Speh always goes around while parents are taking pictures of their children to snap a selfie with them... she also stopped by Kindergarten to do the same!!
