The Aeolian Community came out in numbers to celebrate the love of reading on Friday, March 4th!! We started the day with our traditional reading by Mrs. Martinez of The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss and having a visit from the actual Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 & 2 during the assembly. They sprayed the students with silly string and made a mess. They continued to do so throughout the day in the classrooms. (Students and teachers LOVED it!) We had over 100 readers visit the classrooms. Most classes had at least four readers visit them during the day. Parents joined us for our annual picnic lunch in the Rose Garden!! Our garden was packed of happy families and fun music. Thank you Mrs. Horeckzo, Mrs. Trujillo, Mrs. Kotsios, and Ms. Norris for putting together this great day of learning and reading for our community!!
